Educational Programs
We currently offer a 2-hour program focused on our inaugural exhibit for two age groups, Grades 5-8 and Grades 9-12. This program includes a week of pre-visit programming with activities incorporating Ontario’s curriculum expectations. It also includes the 2-hour onsite program with our museum educator, and a post-trip reflection.
The Gidinawendimin exhibition invites students to explore Michi Saagiig Anishinaabemowin as a living language deeply connected to land, relationships, sound, memory, and identity. Learning in this exhibit emphasizes listening, reflection, respect, and personal connection.
